this app is so much fun! and i love that you can record with it too! but i only gave it 4* because its a bit expensive

I grew up taking organ lessons and love the sound of the organ. The audio bits on this app are truly amazing. Sound just like the real thing. This is so much fun I cant believe it. And being able to record what you play is so cool.

Its a wonderful app, sale price too! The dual keyboard should be implemented in Pianist too since it has more octaves.

*Great app - great sounds, nice gui, flexible. *Recording feature is very cool. Would be even cooler if you included a click track to record to. Timing is everything, right? *Major flaw is the loop points on the samples - please fix them if you can! *Minor flaw - keyboard shift key is too close to note furthest on left and right sides. I find myself hitting this and shifting keyboard inadvertently during play.

I bought it but I cant install it, because its only for vers. 2.2 Why ? maybe MooCowMusic could have written it at the first place, now Im stuck.

It sounds great and Im having a blast with it! Havent played an organ in years and now Ive got one in my pocket! Woo-Hoo!!!

This is great for anyone who likes music or likes to just fool around.

More patches would make this five stars

Finally someone do a good keyboard and a good organ sound!!! MooCowMusic make really good applications with very interesting interfaces!!! Hope they make something in bigger touch screens!!!

Organist is a great app. Very good sound, customizable and fun. It would be beneficial to add some more customizations to the Organ. For example, real stops with different ranks would be very cool. I like this app a lot.

Amazing app, seriously worth its price though I suspect a firesale at $1.99 (or less!) would transform this into a Top 10 app, so a word in the developers ear. As others have mentioned, the only thing missing is the stops and perhaps more pre-loaded music, such as "Silent Picture" accompaniment (the three currently on there are enough to make peoples eyes bug out, though). More Themes are always good. Other than that, its perfect. I so wish I could play the organ, but having this makes me think that I do! The iPhone/iTouch are simply the best modern gadgets invented this century, and apps like Organist are what make them so.

...and once a good set of samples for the 1960s Vox Continental organ (featured in The Animals "House of the Rising Sun", The Doors "Light My Fire" and Question Mark and the Mysterians "96 Tears") are added, my vote for top ten in the app store (a.k.a. five-star rating).

The sound is excellent. It is limited to 4 sound banks, but the church organ and the theater organ are top notch. There is an option for dual keyboards, allowing 4 full octaves on screen, although depending on the size of your fingertips, you might not effectively use that much. I really like how it handles the entire fretboard. The button sliders and tabs allow you to quickly move a couple of notes up or down from your current range or quickly advance to your next full set of keys. The key lock ensures that you wont accidentally change the keyboards while playing. You can record and overdub and thats another plus. You can rearrange your keyboards for the overdubbing and the original recording will stay in the same register. What it wont allow you to do is overdub with a different sound bank. Its not a traditional synth, so there arent many technogadget frills, but all in all, Organist is great.

Only missing the foot pedals! Wish I could save it to iTunes, but maybe someday.

I bought this because of the reviews of the sound and versatility of the program. However, the program keeps crashing every time I try to change the "sustain" setting. Im very frustrated.

This is an amazing app really it is. My favorite feature is the option to change the keyboard view by one key, not an entire octave. But whenever I try to change organ samples it crashes on me.

Will not open , so now I am not able to enjoy this lovely app. Please correct. Thanks.

I love the sound of this organ, but the app crashes literally ALL THE TIME. I have about a 50/50 chance of getting it to work. Please fix this problem.

It works perfect in my iPod touch, but not in my iPad.
